Planner's Comments

Using the newly installed permanent courses seemed to work very well for the three shorter courses and it was a good test for the courses. We were lucky with the weather as the rain held off until we were loading the last of the equipment into the car.

I was slightly disappointed with the numbers of people attending but this was probably down to the vagaries of the weather and other attractions -- Leek 800 Charter celebrations and a DVO event at Kedleston.

Many thanks to all the POTOC helpers but particularly to Henry and Brenda Morgan on Registration/Start/Finish, Richard Pigott and Alison Corbett who got up very early to put controls out plus John Heaton and Geoff Hollins for directing traffic and road marshalling.
